TestGood secret? Bad secret? Story 3

You are celebrating with friends at a party. Anna gets completely drunk. She staggers out of the party on her own and refuses to let anyone go with her. ‘I’ll be all right,’ she slurs.

Good secret? Bad secret?

  • Anna will be all right on her own.
  • Anna is too drunk to make the right decisions; I have to help her, even if it means that her parents discover that she was drunk.

Comments

If someone has drunk so much that they’re no longer capable of assessing dangers, others must take responsibility. If you fear that her parents will react badly, you can take your friend to a hospital or have the fire brigade take her there and tell them that she’s afraid of her parents. Staff from the child or juvenile emergency services will come to the hospital or police and check whether they are in danger at home.
